Lt. John Forster is conducting a series of sensor sweeps to see if he can improve the range of the targeting systems. As he input the last modification he conducted a simulation to see if his calculations were correct.

The weapons simulation completed successfully with all systems performing within expected parameters. A brief targeting delay was noted between acquisition and discharge and was traced to minor software interference rather than hardware fault. Power output and emitter stability remained consistent, with efficiency deviations under 3%.

Recommended actions include recalibrating the targeting matrix and patching the control subroutines to reduce latency. Overall readiness is satisfactory; the system is nearly ready for live deployment pending minor adjustments.

Lt. Valharra without any request from the CWO, began the recalibration. He started punching sequences into the computer for the program to start the recalibration to the recommendations the CWO’s test had offered.

John looked at Valharra “stop we didn’t get the green light from command to make the changes. We have to follow procedure” he said with his best Vulcan voice even though he was not Vulcan he was raised by one.

He then smiled and said “ but I love your enthusiasm”
