Sara had finally got finished getting adjusted being back on board the Chernov. She had then finally thought about the recertification. She went back to where she was when she first came back on board and started to look around for Forster. “Hello. It’s me Lieutenant Lovejoy to recertify myself.” She said.

John was in the armory, running maintenance on some of the bolt action phaser rifles. Some of them needed new power cells and one had a damage conduit that will cause it to malfunction if the barrel got too hot. He did hear Lovejoy enter he had music plugs in his ears, listening to music.

She saw him as she walked in and noticed that he was busy. She didn’t want to interrupt anything. She stood there with patience and didn’t really say anything.

John shut his music off and said “well Lt. are you just going to stand there the whole time or give me a hand I can show you how to clean them also” he ask as he turned and looked at her talking with the warm and clam Voice.

“Yes. Sorry Ensign.” She said as she started to help him clean things. “Just wanted to ask how have you been since I’ve been gone for a little?” She asked him.

John looked at her “ the first time I met you was in my class. I’ve never met you before so I didn’t know how to answer your question but I have a question for you. What phaser do you like better the beam shot or the bolt shot” he said with his clam relaxing voice

After a few minutes John put down a padd with lovejoy’s name on the screen and said “ congratulations he is completed the written part of the test. I just gave it to you verbally” he said giving the padd to her “now we just need you to shoot both beam and bolt shot phasers” he them gave her a professional smile
