As she was dismissed from doing the recertification for weapons recertification, she got back and started to settle in after her long time away from the ship, even on medical leave. She was very happy to be back and was ready to get back to work. However, she will have to go and do her check ins and update everything.

Kastarak entered the mess. “Hello Ms Lovejoy,” he said. He was keen to understand how she was feeling now that he had returned to the ship. “How are you finding your reintegration to the ship?”

She looked up and saw the commander. “Oh. Hello commander I’m honestly finding it a little difficult since I’ve been off the ship for a good 5 months. But I’m getting adjusted sir.” She said looking at him. “Please have a seat.” She added. “Just after the long break and time off, seeing an old friend of mine who is completely jealous that I’m here and he’s on another ship was nice. But being back here is going to take some getting used to. Thank you.” She told Kastarak.

Kastarak took a seat, cognizant of how their last meeting before Lovejoy left the ship went. He hoped this would help repair their alliance and rapport, and that they could begin a more collaborative and cooperative working relationship.

“Thank you, Ms Lovejoy,” he said. “I understand it may be difficult to readjust. What can the captain and I do to help you? What do you require?”

“Honestly commander. I don’t know. I know readjusting has been a little hard on me I’m managing. Commander. I do apologize for disobeying your direct order a few months back. I was way out of line. But honestly, being able to make me feel comfortable and hopefully help me work on getting adjusted.” She said to Kastarak.
