John was jogging with a group of his security team members. As y’all took them through the shuttle Bay he was called over by the first officer.

He and the team walked over to where the group was
And John pop to attention and said “yes sir what can we do for you sir” John saw a women who looks like she have just arrived she didn’t look like a new ensign because of the way she carried herself. Then he noticed the small cat in her arms and his heart fluttered (due to his love of animals)

Olesya waved, holding out her hand to John.

“I assume you’ve been running the department in the interim. Lieutenant jg Olesya Koycheva. I’ll be your direct superior,” she paused as she turned to the rest of the team. “I look forward to getting to know you all,” she said.

She gestured to the carrier.

“Oh, and this is my cat, Dima. Feel free to say hello to him. He’s quite friendly,” she said with a smile.

John’s love for animals, started to peak “ahhhh can I hold him” he asked feeling like a kid again (I have been thinking of having a pet wolf it can help in a security situation)

Vulpie nodded eagerly, opening up Dima’s carrier, picking him up, and handing him to John.

“He just turned two last month. He’s definitely a cuddler. And yes, he does share the collective orange braincell on occasion, but you never know when that’s gonna be. Oh, and he loves it when you hold him upside down for some reason (OOC: That’s inspired by an orange cat I follow on YouTube named Nanaki). God knows why.”
