Lieutenant Lovejoy kinda of started to smile as she was looking at Chris. Not realizing that she might have a chance with him. But however, they have both agreed to take it slowly. So the lieutenant took the captain to dinner with a smile. “So should I call you captain or is this is off duty?” She asked with a smile and sat down.

Sara Lovejoy

Breathing out. “Ah. Chris is fine. You can go change if you want to. I’ll wait.”

The waiter came over and looked puzzled seeing the Captain there not wearing a uniform and in the presence of a lady. “Can I get you something to drink to start?” The waiter said.

Chris nodded. “I’ll have an RC Cola. I have plenty of booze in my cabin.” The waiter nodded and smiled. “And for you Madame?”. He said looking at Lovejoy.

Chris

“Make that two RC Cola’s.” She said with a smile. While looking at Chris, she notice that she started to blush a little more. “So Chris, uh. What would you like to know? I can try and give you everything I know about myself.” She added.

Sara

Chris smiled. “You’ll love RC. It was my favorite drink as a kid. And I don’t know Sara. Everything in a nutshell. After you I’ll go.”

Chris

“Okay. That works. RC I’ve never had it before.” She said with a smile.

Sara

Chris waited till the waiter came back with the pops. Setting them down. “Here you go. Have you decided what you want to order?”

Chris nodded and said,”I’ll have the grilled cheese and tomato soup with extra crackers please.” The waiter nodded. “And for you miss?”

Once she have him her order and he went away Chris took a sip of his RC. “Ahhh. So Sara. Please tell me about yourself, your life so far and I’ll tell you mine.”

Chris

“Well I got to admit. Life’s been different. Grown up with 3 siblings. I know not in my service record but 3 siblings. 1 of them actually passed away while at the academy shortly after I first came aboard. She died due to a control malfunction. Meaning a malfunctioned control panel actually blew up and killed her. My other two siblings are stationed some where else. They are higher ranking then I am. I’ve got a childhood friend but never really talked to him much. I went ahead and came aboard here after the years at the academy and at spacedock and became the chief engineer but then stepped down for a few months of leave of absence. I however, then came back and wanted to continue the work I’ve started. Uh I’ve been wanting to have kids of my own eventually. I mean yeah I know I’m young. I’m 23 so yeah I’m very young. But you know it’s been difficult but I’ve managed. I’ve always been someone who like older men for some reason. I hope it doesn’t make you feel uncomfortable Chris. I do drink from time to time. Not all the time like most people nowadays. Since the things I’ve grown from the academy from doing engineering stuff to being a helms woman. I’ve loved to fix things and fly things and build things. I know it’s been weird. I’ve been like that since I was 8 years old.” She said with a smile and didn’t know what Chris was going to react about her age with her being so young in age.
