As Lovejoy came back through the whole process of being transported back on board, she went to the Chief Medical Officer’s office and walked in. She then said “Is there a doctor here?” She asked.

Not knowing if the doctor would be appreciated to have her back or not. She was worried.

LT J.G. Lovejoy

Head Nurse Sutalo saw Lovejoy having returned to the ship, and seemingly going about in Dr Symar’s office.

“Ms Lovejoy, you’re back,” he exclaimed. “What can we do for you?”

“Oh hey Ensign. It’s good to see you too. I’m just back to take care of my physical since the last time I was here last.” She said. “Also kinda wanted to have someone to hang out later after shift.” She added.

LT. Lovejoy

“Ah yes,” Nurse Sutalo replied sternly. “I suppose you could ask one of our Vulcan doctors. They seem to love hanging out. Speaking of, which one of them would you like to see for your physical? I’ll book you in. Need a psych eval too, or is it still in order? “

“Just came back from a long show leave it you want to think about it ensign.” She said. Smiling. “and a Vulcan would be nice.” She added

“In what sense?” Sutalo joked back.

Sutalo checked his pad, and said, “Dr Kastarak is seeing a patient now. He’ll be available in about fifteen minutes, I believe, while Dr Symar starts his shift at 14:00, and his next free slot is at 15:40. Do you wish to sit outside this office, in the waiting area, until Kastarak is ready, or shall I book you in for 15:40 with Dr Symar?”

“Just go ahead and put me on his next free slot. I can wait till then.” She said.

Ensign Sutalo could feel the frustration build up within him. Twice, he had asked which doctor Lovejoy wanted to see, twice, she had refused to answer. He wanted her to get out soon. Sure, while the CMO would be better in terms of Symar’s experience and rank, Sutalo needed Lovejoy out of Sickbay soon, before he lost it on her.

He kept his composure.

“Stay here, and Kastarak will be with you shortly, OK?”

He tapped something on the padd, most likely a booking for Kastarak to come see Lovejoy as soon as he was done with his current patient. The nurse then left.

– Ensign Sutalo (head nurse, NE).

“Alright.” She said.

A few minutes later, Kastarak came out of his office and saw Lovejoy sitting in the waiting area.

“Ms Lovejoy, it is agreeable to see you again,” he greeted her. “Please follow me to my office.”

He led the way to his office, which was only fifteen metres away.
