As Lovejoy returned to her home ship and was wondering where her department head is. Although, she was so used to being the Department head of engineering herself. Although, she did once have the position as Chief Intelligence Officer on board but being back in Engineering brought some memories when she first started on board. Although, her friend Pawl, who is now her department head she had always put trust in him when she was reassigned and put him as Chief Engineer on board. She’s happy that she gets to work with Pawl again. When she was Department head of engineering, he was under her. But now she’s under him. She completely respects him for all his work and all the stuff he did when she was the DH of Engineering.

While she walked down the corridor she rang the chime for her department heads office and realized it was her old office.

LT. J.G. Lovejoy

“Come in?” PAwl said calmly and loud enough to be heard above the engineering noises nearby. As he turned off the console near him as he was finished with it.

Lt Jg Pawl Batario Acting Chief Engineer

She then enters the room. “Well it seems like that this room hasn’t changed much since I gave you the spot of Chief Engineer. It looks good on you. Honestly I kinda miss it but I’m not sure that I want to take up on the job again. Unless you think other wise.” She said. Smiling at her closest friend that she gave her position to she’s happy to see him but standing at attention though.

“Sara!! I mean Lt Lovejoy.” Pawl said with a smile not expecting to see her again. “welcome back .” PAwl said more calmly now. “Technically I am Just the Temporary Chief Engineer since I am not officially with Starfleet in an official capacity as of yet.” Pawl explained calmly. “So the position is still open as it were.” Pawl motioned her to come in and have a seat. “It is pleasing to see you again chief.” Pawl smile as he stood and waited for her to sit.

“Thanks Pawl. And no need to call me Lt. Lovejoy. It’s ok. So how’s engineering been holding out since I left the first time?” She asked.

“Well, pretty well I would believe we’ve gotten along of the back order work done other than any items that require spacedock to complete.” Pawl said calmly to her.
“You are more than welcome to start whenever you are ready to do so. You’re more than welcome to take a day to get settled back in.”If you wish? Pawl added quickly.

She smiled at him thinking why does he have to be such a romantic at times when he’s nice. I have something to tell him but I’m not so sure “Thanks Pawl. I’ll just go right ahead and start. Being back makes me feel at home.” She said.
