It was a quiet afternoon in Sickbay. Kastarak saw Symar sitting in his office. Kastarak headed there, hoping to get some time to speak with him.

“Sir?” Kastarak inquired. “May I have a few minutes of your time? May I come in?”

– Lt jg Kastarak (physician / counsellor)

Symar looked up from his desk, keenly aware that some of the nurses who did not yet know his true halfbreed identity could be listening in from around Chernov’s Sickbay; to that end, he arched an eyebrow but kept his face deadpan, “What can I do for you Doctor Kastarak?”

-Lieutenant Symar: Chief Medical Officer-

“A private conversation, sir,” Kastarak said, understanding Symar’s reasons. The windows were blinded, and the door closed.

“Symar, how are you?”

– Lt jg Kastarak, physician.

“Better than I thought I’d be at this stage of the game Kastarak,” Symar said, once more letting his true identity slip out, “Just still trying to process everything I guess.”

-Lieutenant Symar: Chief Medical Officer-

Kastarak nodded understandingly. “Yes, sir.” he said. “I am with you. There is something else I’d like to discuss with you.”

“What can I do for you Ensign?”
