William pulled himself up on the cart and sat down “When we arrive at their village I don’t want anyone to spend any time alone, if we have to split up I want parties of at least two’s or three’s. Dawson make sure to spread your people out evenly among the groups, I don’t want anyone without one of yours around” He deliberately avoided using words like security or guards as they were just a few feet from one of the speaking ponies, and although they seemed to be friendly he had no intention of blindly trusting anything that could sneak past their perimeter so easily.

Dawson gave a nod and said, “Understood sir.” He then looked over to Umbri with a concerned expression.

Apple Jack pulled the cart as Pinkie Pie got in and sat next to Commander Grey. “Hi! What’s your name?!

They came into Ponyville after about 20 minutes of travel and they could see a nice small farming village and nestled on the outskirts was a huge crystal type castle. “That is Princess Twilights castle over yonder” Apple Jack said. “We will be there in about five minutes.”

Once they got to the castle a purple haired pony flew down from the balcony and landed next to them. “Welcome to Ponyville! My name is Twilight Sparkle. The Princess of Friendship! We are pleased to have you all here. I have already let the other Princesses know of your arrival and they will be here in a few hours to discuss terms and to answer any other questions that you have. But please feel free to ask anything that you want.”

Dawson looked to see a horse with wings land in front of them. At the mention of discussing terms Dawson tensed and looked to Umbri again and tapped his phaser while looking pointedly at their own, hoping she understood the subtle instruction to be ready to fight.

Princess Twilight Sparkle looked at Lt. Dawson with a warm smile. “Don’t be like that. We mean you no harm. Truly.” Before she could go on a purple and green dragon came from another room. “Twilight. I got a letter from Princess Celestia saying that something has come up in Canterlot and that she is delayed for a few days and asked you to be a gracious host and have them stay with you and show them around until they can make it here. OR you can have them all go to Canterlot but she will be busy.”

“Thank you Spike.” Twilight said. “So, it looks like you are guests here for a few days. You can stay here at my castle or go back to wherever you came from but be back here in three days. Like I said before, you are not prisoners here and are welcomed and honor guests. My mentor Princess Celestia wants to get to know you all and be friends and partner up with your organization......Starfleet is it?”

Umbri knew exactly what these creatures were and had been pretty much unresponsive to their superior officer due to shock (and internal geeking out). When Dawson tapped his phaser, they snapped out of their haze. “Sorry, Sir. Did you need me?” they asked.

Lieutenant (jg) Umbri Hawkins, Security Officer

Dawson gave her a look that seemed to say are you kidding? but then shook it off and said, “Not just yet, but be on guard. Something is off here, though I don’t know what-“

“Tada!” He said waiving his arms and taking a bow. “I brought one more that went astray. See. I can be helpful.” As he leaned in and bopped Princess Twilight Sparkle on the nose.

“Discord!” Twilight said. “What do you mean astray? Did you do something to her?”

“What?! Me? I would never dream of this sort of thing and you can ask Princess Luna that. She just appeared in the Everfree Forest and I was there doing.....stuff and decided to help her is all. Besides, Twilight. Just because I am reformed doesn’t mean that I can’t have fun every now and again.”

Twilight rolled her eyes at that. “Are you ok miss? I am Princess Twilight Sparkle and you are now in Ponyville. Do you have any questions?”

Immediately it was as if something in Dawson’s head snapped into focus. He had missed Cmdr Taria! How had allowed one of their party to disappear and be taken by potentially hostile forces? And the conversation between the Discord Creature and Twilight did not ease his feeling of dread. He pulled out his tricorder and went up to the Commander. “Commander T’Aria, are you injured? What happened?” He asked as he began to scan for any injuries. He put a hand back to his phaser as he awaited the results and further orders from the Commander.

Lieutenant Symar, who had been throughly confused by the sudden appearances of sentient horses on this strange planet, fought hard to hide the panicked look from his face as he realised T’Aria had reappeared alongside the rest of the away team, “Lieutenant Dawson, do you require my assistance?”

-Lieutenant Symar: Chief Medical Officer-

“Quite possibly,” Dawson said drawing his phaser, “Please look over the commander and make sure she isn’t injured. Hawkins, Vykter, Secure the away team.” Dawson leveled a stare at the creature called Discord and, while not pointing his phaser at him, was ready to snap into motion at moment’s notice.

Symar gave a curt nod and dropped to one knee over T’Aria’s body, reaching for his medical tricorder.

-Lieutenant Symar: Chief Medical Officer-

The results of the medical scan reveled that she was not harmed but her heart rate was up because of what just happened to her but it is not at a dangerous level.

Discord smiled at Lt. Dawson and snapped his fingers and the phaser turned into a banana. “Please. As if you could do anything to me. I just brought your friend over from a malfunction caused by how you all got here and want to meet me with hostilities? Typical.”

Princess Twilight spoke up. “Please. We do not mean you any harm so do not be afraid.” Looking at Discord now. “Discord. If you can’t behave, then you have to leave. This is a very critical moment in our world were we need to have things run smoothly.”

Discord feigned a “ohs me” look. “Fine.” Snapping his fingers and then the banana turned back into a phaser. “I will behave, but I must leave to spread chaos somewhere.” He snapped his fingers again and he was gone.

Princess Twilight smiled at everyone. “Please. Let’s go to my welcoming chambers, have a seat and some tea and cookies. Please follow me.”

Pinkie Pie chirped up. “And Cupcakes and cakes and other goodies I baked especially for our new friends!” She started to bounce away following Twilight and so did the others.
