Adira finally reached the lounge and took a moment to calm her self just a bit.she stepped inside and made her way behind the the counter. From the storage room behind her you could hear Darrah call out “isn’t it a little early for you to be here?”

“Never to early for a drink Dar ” she said as she grabbed one of her special bottles and a single glass and headed toward a corner table over looking the entire room.

She filled the glass and stared at it for a moment before turning up the bottle and taking a long drink. She sat the bottle down and let the warm liquid flow through her. She took a deep breath, and another drink as she let the memories of the last few weeks just fade away.

Kane just got off shift and needed a drink. Walking into the Lounge he looked around and saw Givens sitting in the corner with a bottle. Kane smirked a bit and said to himself “Looks like someone is having it rough.” He walked up to the bar and, not seeing anyone, said “Hey! Can I get a drink?”

“Dar is in the back and probably can’t hear you, or is choosing to ignore you” she said as she slid the untouched glass to the opposite side of the table as an offer for Kane to join her.
