Chris was fresh off his 30 day suspension for assaulting Loring and he petitioned Starfleet to grant the whole crew a ten day reprieve or vacation. He knew of only one place that darn near everyone could agree on....Risa.

He walked onto the bridge and sat in the center chair. The Captain was on his own personal vacation so Chris was in charge. “Helm. Set a course for Risa and go as fast as this thing can go to get there. We have no time to waste.”

The helmsman looked back and smiled. “Yes sir!” And pressed the necessary buttons and the ship left the dock and was soon at max warp.

Chris pressed the com button. (O) To all Chernov crew. We are on our way to Risa for a ten day vacation! Surprise!(O) He smiled and sipped his coffee.

Mwezi sat in his quarters, reading a nice novel, when the announcement came over the comm system. Risa? He felt as though he had heard of the planet, but wasn’t entirely sure. He shrugged, intending to ask his DH about it later, and turned back to his book.

Kane was in Sickbay doing orthopedic surgery on an Engineer who had fallen from the catwalk and broke his leg and hip. As the announcement came over the comms, he looked up at listened. As the word ‘Risa’ came through, Kane grinned under the mask he wore. He reached over an lightly smacked the unconscious patient on the forehead. “You hear that? Swear to the gods, you make me miss this because you could’t walk a straight line and I will stitch your knees together permanently.” The attending surgical staff looked at each other with looks that said they would not be surprised if the tattooed PA did exactly that, and Kane went back to repairing the bits of broken bone and collapsed artery that was the man’s hip.

Hardly two hundred feet from Kane, in the main bay, T’Aria, who was busy assisting with a patient suffering from plasma burns and mild radiation poisoning, something that was quite common of those engineers, barely took into consideration the word ‘Risa.’ She knew of the planet, as only a fool on this ship really wouldn’t, unless they were new to the Federation. Quirking an eyebrow, she listened as the Engineer went off on a tangent about the perks of so-called ‘vacation,’ his plans, and so forth. T’Aria, who was not much of a woman to enjoy vacations, held her tongue, allowing the human man to continue his rambling, which she chose to tune out. With all illmanner set aside, the idea of meditation did sound nice.

“Well, I think I am going to like being on this ship. I just came onboard and the first place we are going is Risa.” Jay let himself smile a little as he remembered his last trip to Risa. “I wonder what kind of trouble I can get into this time” he thought to himself.

“I guess that is in a way Star Fleet saying.. Sorry we put you through shit. Enjoy few days off. I think we won’t see much more in the ways of an apology there.” Stone commented.

She felt so powerless during the experiance. The ship crippled, crew kidnapped. She did what was necessary for them to survive, but honestly, she had doubts she’d see Earth again.

Adira looked at Andrea wanting to say something, but knew the moment she did she would be reprimanded. She kept quiet instead.

The more she thought about the situation with Loring the more her blood boiled. She had a strong hatred now for the only person she had ever truly opened her self up to, and she couldn’t stand it.

William had heard of Risa, different stories from different people. Never having left the system before he had of course never been. He stood up from his station and looked towards the Commander and Security Chief “Well the Fleet can’t really apologize for something that never really happened can they” He said calmly “Risa, is it everything they say, Sir?” He asked the XO.
