T’kul sat at the end of his bed. He was back on the ship after his mental breakdown. For a Vulcan like him to give in to his emotions like that was illogical. He was headed to his family’s vacation spot in his family’s personal yacht, when an octopus looking ship created a black hole that sucked his ship in with it, and brought him to this new universe. With no way back, he found the headquarters to Starfleet and became an officer. Spending time on this ship, as an Ensign, he watched his mentor pass away on his home planet. Being promoted to Lt and Weapons officer, he couldn’t control his emotions, and had a break down, the Captain gave him leave to seek council and now he’s back, the ensign who joined the ship when he was promoted is now over him. He was proud of that for them.
He got up and left his quarters and walked down the hallway, he had a meeting with the Lt. to get back on the duty roster. He arrived at the office door, took a deep breath, and approached the door so it chimed to let the Lt. know of his arrival.
Lt. Valharra, security

Umbri shot up from where they were sitting when they heard the doorchime. “Enter,” they said, straightening their uniform. Upon seeing the door open, they smiled. It was Lt. Valharra, their former superior officer. “Lieutenant, what a surprise. Please, come in and take a seat,” they said, gesturing to the chair across from them.

The Vulcan Lt. walked in and sat down. “It appears congratulations are in order for your promotion to Weapons Officer.” He stated. “I assure you, I have my emotions in check now, and as a Vulcan, I should not have an episode like that ever again, not that I should have had one to begin with.” He continued. He was still hard on himself for letting himself have the emotions that led to his break down, even with the psychiatrist telling him it is natural even for a Vulcan who has been through what he endured.
Lt. Valharra, Security

Umbri nodded. “Thank you. I’m honestly still getting used to being in a position of leadership, but I’m grateful for the help I’ve received from my fellow officers. As for your emotional state, know that I’m always here if you need to talk about anything. I want everyone in my department to be healthy in all aspects of life,” they said.
