The next morning Ricky got up from his bed refreshed but still worried about what the XO had said. Stepping into the sonic shower he got himself clean and put on a jumpsuit uniform. He didn’t want to push Taggarts buttons today.

=/\= LT English to Commander Taggart. Do you have a moment to meet me this morning? =/\= Ricky asked hoping that he could clear things up with the XO, and apologize for embarrassing him in the lounge.

(O) Sure thing. I’m making pancakes at my place. Stop in and talk and have some breakfast. I even have real, pure grade A Canadian syrup. (O)

=/\= My favorite, I’ll be over in five minuets. =/\= It seemd as though the XO had, had time to cool down. But he wouldn’t know for sure till he arrived.

Ricky wound his way through the coradoors and got onto the turbolift. The lift opened up on to deck two and he made his way to the XO’s quarters. Ricky rang the chime and awaited the XO to grant him inside.

Chris yelled “come in!” As Ricky entered he could smell the sweet smell of pancakes, cinnamon and other smells which would cause any mans mouth to water.

Chris had on a grey t-shirt and black sweat pants and wearing his signature Hugh Heffner red smoking jacket/robe on. “Pull yourself up a chair and dig in my man.” He placed a plate with three pancakes about 10 inches in diameter in front of Ricky on the counter and slid silverware to him. “Spreadable butter is right there and the best syrup money can buy in that glass bottle right there.”

He turned back around and poured some batter into the skillet after he put some butter on the bottom first. Then turned back towards Ricky. “So what do you want to talk about?”
