After the hospital visit Chris was flexing his new arm. Smiling, “Works very well don’t you think?”

“We are very near the boat that I rented. All of the supplies are already on board and it will only be us for a week at the most. Don’t worry, I won’t do anything unbecoming. I mean that. But if you want to, I’ll get someone else to join us if you want. It’s no problem.”

Walking a few more minutes they come upon a boat that can only be described as a yacht. “Is the only thing that I could find on short notice that’s big enough for us and that dang squid. It was kind of expensive but considering I rarely spend any of my salary on anything so I had more than enough. Which is why if it survives, it will be coming back with us on the Chernov! My retirement present to myself once I finally decide to leave Starfleet.” Winking and smiling, “Don’t worry. I’m not planning on going anywhere for awhile.”

Stepping up on the dock and onto the ship he opened the door. “Me casa eu su casa! Or something like that. You go downstairs and pick your room. I think there’s five, so don’t worry. Pick the biggest one. I’ll get dinner started and we can leave at first light tomorrow. How does that sound?” Looking through the cabinets finding what he wanted while waiting for her answer. Without turning around he spoke again, “Don’t worry. I learned how to cook from Sega’a. He’s a wonderful teacher.”
