When Lovejoy just get back to the engine room from her break, she then noticed that her engineering team is working perfectly. Though she wasn’t expecting anything that would happen to the ship. While she was working in engineering with her team, she then noticed something to do with the warp engine. She was then concerned about what’s gonna happen to the ship. As Lovejoy looked up at the engine, she started to feel something with the warp engine. She didn’t know about it until then, until something made the ship jolt out of warp speed. As the ship stopped in space in one place, she didn’t know what happened to warp speed. They were just in warp speed heading from their mission on the way home, she then got ahold of the bridge and said [O] Captain, the warp engines failed. I don’t know how or why. For some reason, we have no idea. My team and I are currently getting underway with repairs. I’ll give you updates about what happened. [O] she said to the captain through the inter comm.

She started to get worried about the ship cause it’s the ships warp drive. Warp drive is one thing that helps the ship get from place to place. She feels bad for this too.

Blaze felt the jolt when he was in his lab. He pulled the sub systems diagnostic check and found all sub systems we’re running fine except for the engineering area. He pressed the com [o] Blaze to lovejoy I have checked the sub systems from my lab the only sub systems that are not up is from engineering as if they is a blind spot. I’m going to check a few more systems then head on down there [o]

Meanwhile, in Sickbay, Kastarak – the doctor in charge – experienced technical difficulties. Screens flickered, consols were not displaying properly, and Kastarak had concerning thoughts that diagnostic would be affected. He did not know of the warp-core errors, of course, but thought the leave of warp was according to plan.

He pressed the communicator.

[o] Engineering, this is Sickbay. We are experiencing technical issues. Electronics are appearing to malfunction. Please send in trouble-shooters. [o]

– Ensign Kastarak (Doctor).

[o] Sickbay this is engineering. We are a little busy at the moment. The warp engine ended up malfunction somehow and don’t know why. I’ll get someone down there as soon as she can. [o] she pressed the comms. She was wondering what happened. This was a completely unusual thing that the engines did this. The warp engines shouldn’t have done this. But they did.

[o] Blaze to engineering I just saw sickbay has gone dark. With 2 areas down this is more then just a random glitch. I am head there now I am bringing a few back up generators we can at least get the system to emergency power [O] Blaze got the gear he needed and started to head to engineering.

[o] thank you Lt. Blaze. I’m going to sickbay. You’ll have engineering until I’m back. [o]. She said to blaze. Lovejoy is worried that this whole thing with the warp engine maybe a ship wide issue. Lovejoy was worried that the fact that the captain might end up yelling at her.

After a few minutes Blaze was in main engineering the emergency generators were hook up to systems that were key systems and got power flowing to them. Blaze was checking the warp core the first thing he check was the plasma injectors they were fine. he then check the warp coils but they were fine also then he checked the dilithium crystals chamber a few cracks but still good. With most of the consoles running on backup power and generators he started to run a level 4 diagnostic and plugged his lab top to check the sub systems. Both acts showed nothing. “ ok guys let’s try to cold start the core” they had enough consoles powered up to try restarts.

As Lovejoy got to sickbay she then was like what is going on. “Ensign Kastarak. I am so sorry for this. Let me see what I can do.” She said. [o] sickbay to engineering report [o]. She tapped the com next to the console she was working on. She wasn’t expecting that sickbays power was gonna go down.

[o] Blaze here we are about to restart the core I have One generator warming up the Warp plasma Once we have the warp plasma following we will manly converge the matter and anti-matter flow to the conversion chamber To activate the Dilithium crystals that will jumpstart the whole engine[O] (cold start procedure 3B)

[o] How long do you think that this’ll take Lt? Got a good approximate time? [o] she asked Lt. Blaze about it. [o] sickbays systems are acting up too and could use some idea on what other decks are affected by this whole issue. [o]. She also said.

Blaze was busy with the rest of the engineering team. The warp plasma was ready and flowing he looked at the 2 other officers who were helping him “ok on the count of 3 both of you open your vent for matter and antimatter when they both reach the conversion chamber I will start the systems with luck the system will cycle” Everyone got to their positions. “1…….2……..3!”

The vents were open Blaze cycled the system And after a few seconds of silence a slow hum started to sound Then the Hum turn into the Roar of the warp core firing back up with fresh power being sent throughout the ship. “ good job Bob and Jackson let Let’s run a full diagnostic. And keep our eye on the matter and antimatter conversion and make sure the warp plasma is flowing the proper direction.” He then called over to Rick “how is the magnetic confinement” he ask as he walk over to Rick who showed him the problem.

[Magnetic confinement System: 75% and dropping.

Blaze saw that the magnetic confinement system was at 75% and dropping. he access the system to reroute a emergency power to the magnetic confinance system and was he was able to get the magnetic confinement system to 80% and hold.

“ this is the best I can do we’re gonna have to wait for the Chief to get back up here but let’s make sure the rest of the system is holding steady continue with the diagnostic” he said to the team he walk to the wall Com

[0] Blaze to sick bay we got main power back online and the warp core and holding at 60% but we had to reroute emergency power to the magnetic confinement to get it to hold at 80% chief you need to get down here I have done all I can do here [0] he said with a worry tone.
