As Lovejoy went to the mess hall, she went ahead and decided to make a little meeting with the engineering team. Lovejoy thought that it would be nice and really thoughtful for her to know her own Engineering team. Being the Chief Engineer she wants to get to know them really well and she want to also discuss things to improve engineering so it looks like a better and a well taken care of a department.

As she was sitting at the table awaiting her team, she went ahead and looked over her teams record and is pleased to see that they like the engineering department. Though she would like to have one of her ensigns to check in with her but it hasn’t happened. She’s not mad or anything, she’s just a little disappointed is all. Hoping she’d get the chance to meet him and anything. She knows that it’s hard for her team to get a hang of things, but she’s able to do it.

Chief Engineer Lovejoy

Blaze entered with pads in his bag work orders for today. He took his set and finally looked up “no one here yet” he asked

Lt. Alexander Blaze (Programmer)

“No not yet. Just wondering where the rest of the team are. Also Blaze, I wanted to say thank you for helping out in engineering earlier.” She said to him. As she smiled.

Chief Engineer Lovejoy

Blaze look at her “it was nothing even if this ship is new a lot of the factory standard parts are not the best” he said as he completed the work on the pad he had. He showed her the pad he was working on “like this pad it was running slow and some people never updated the software on there gear” he said
