Chris was now starting to feel uneasy. Not because he dislikes gays but because he started to remember all those talks with him, especially in his quarters. He knew then tat this was really not Ricky just merely performing but acting out how he feels for Chris.

Chris got up and being mindful of the microphone said in a low voice and his face was stern. “I’m not gay Ducky.” And left the room with haste and did not look back.

Ricky was a little taken back when Chris made his announcement. He then turned his back and turned to the other dancers and told them what the next song will be.

He then took the mike again and began to sing the last set of the night. While the girls behind him sang background and danced.

LT - Ricky English

Stovik noted his XO’s interchange with the singer and his precipitous exit. He chose not to interfere but thought it might have to do with the Comms officer addressing the song toward him. His expression remained stoic though and he gave no outward sign of noticing other then to scan the rest of the crew briefly to see if others had noted and or were bothered by it. It was entirely logical that he acted as if nothing had happened the rest of the crew would follow suit. It was a private matter between the XO and the Comms officer and not anyone else’s business. He would watch though to be sure that the two men were capable of working with each other.

Captain Stovik

Ricky began to form a noticeable tear in his eye as he sang the last song. The girls in the back ground were doing a wonderful job as back up. When the song ended the lights went out and Ricky made his way behind the curtain as well did the girls. They all gave him a hug saying how cruel the Commander was to get mad at Ricky during the performance. “It’s not right.” one of them said. “I have a good mind to tell him what for.” Said another.

“It’s alright.” Said Ricky. “It was really my fault. I knew that he wasn’t gay, but I thought he would at least be a good sport and have fun.” Ricky began to change out of costume when he noticed that the crowd out side was asking for an encore. “Well girls do we have it in us for one more song?” The girls got excited and started to quickly change into the last costume for the night, while Ricky sat in front of a dressing mirror and start to do his makeup. Once he was done he put on his blond Madonna wig. He also put on a gorgeous dress. Ricky even made sure that he had enough time to put on his fake breasts to fill out the front of the dress. It was a bit of a surprise to most but Ricky did look a lot like Madonna.

The crowd was still there and rowdy when they all appeared again on the stage. Ricky then took the microphone one more time. And the music began to play. This time the music was that of Madonna and none other than her hit song Vogue.
