“Cm-on girls, we only have ten minuets till show time!” Fixing his makeup, and fluffing his feather boa and slipping into his black high heal shoes he went and inspected all the girls costumes. “Okay girls your looking absolutely fabulous!” All the girls including Ricky were wearing a well fitted matching bathing suit. Fish net stockings black high heal shoes and a top hat. All items you would think would clash but somehow it all worked together.

Ricky put himself in the center of the girls and they all walked into the lounge and onto the stage. They could hear the low muffled conversations of the crew waiting to see what will be coming out from behind the curtain.

The curtain began to move and the crew became quiet and music began to play. What they saw was Ricky in the middle wearing a woman’s bathing suit with eight girls four on ether side of him dancing the KanKan in their high heals, and fish net stockings. Their timing was absolutely perfect and they seemed to be moving all as one, which was amazing because they had only been practicing for little over a week.

One other woman came out from the curtain wearing a men’s suit caring a microphone and began to sing Frank Sinatra’s New York, New York.

The dancing behind her changed and card board cut outs of New York appeared in the background.

Ducky

Out of curiosity, Stovik decided to stop by and see the Comm Officer’s advertised show. He had seen many performances and productions on various ships over the years. Humans seemed to enjoy them very much. This one appeared to be different from the usually classical themed ones he had attended in the past. His eyebrows raised as he noted English’s attire and placement on the stage. His inscrutable expression did not change though as he quietly rested off to the side near the wall and watched.

Once again the music changed and one by one the girls came out from behin a cut out of an american air craft carrier from the 20th century wearing white salor uniforms with bell bottom pants and the standard collar bib. The cut out buildings were replaced with cut outs of waves surounding the ship. Rick then came out in the same salor uniform but this time he made his way to the microphone picked it up, and joined the others.

“Ladies and gentlemen this is for you all who enjoy the timeless classics from the 20th century.” Ricky then began to sing the song In The Navy - By The Village People
