William disliked psychologists as a general rule, one almost stopped his admission into the fleet nearly eight years ago during his first year at Starfleet Academy. But seeing as Starfleet saw fit to assign this Battlecruiser with a Betazoid psychologist it was his duty to have a check-in. There wasn’t much to do for him until they would arrive at Galdor so he requested a time allotment. He was standing outside the office door for nearly ten full seconds before hitting the Chime and waiting to be let in.

Kanina opened the door around four seconds later, then held a hand out politely. “Lieutenant Commander Grey. Welcome.” She had, of course, sensed him outside, but had remained behind her desk until he hit the chime.
