Once they got him into Sickbay, Kane would be able to attempt diagnosis and look for some temporary treatment for Mwezi to tide him over until they got him home.

Having moved the big wolf-man to a biobed, Kane began running scans and comparing them to Mwezi’s most recent. The scans reveled a high level of oxytocin… but that didn’t explain the symptoms. Further scans then showed a huge spike in monoamine oxidase A (MAO-A). Kane scowled… well, more so than normal. He looked at Mwezi and said “You hang out here, Warren. I gotta go figure out why your brain is being wonky.” and he put a hand on the lupine officer’s shoulder and walked to his office.

Inside, he sat down and pulled up the Galdori Medical Database. It wasn’t as extensive as it could be, but it did have some information. It took about thirty minutes before Kane said “Well, sunofab…” and he stood up and looked at the screen again and then walked out and back to Mwezi.

The staff had tried to make him as comfortable as they could in the intervening time, and Kane reviewed everything before setting half of his butt on the bio bed next to Mwezi and looked down at him, hair cascading down across his face. “So… you and this fiancé of yours… I’m guessing that this wasn’t a shotgun wedding, was it?” He motioned a nurse over and handed her a PaDD. “10cc’s to start, then five every hour.” She nodded and went to the med locker and began prepping whatever Kane had given her.
