OOC: GM what does the scans of the people that are coming towards the ship show. Just trying to put things back on track.

The NE at science frantically scanned the inbound people. “Sir, they don’t appear to be in any sort of craft, or even environmental suits. They’re just out there, somehow propelling themselves.”

“That’s just weird. Can we beam them onto the ship? I am not sure we should just leave them out there…”

A second later Michael hit a button on the communications panel, “Engineering…what is our power status?”

Mwezi continued to hover over the tactical station, waiting for his controls to return. He wasn’t a fan of the idea to beam aboard these strangers that caused so many problems for them. Including murdering a man he was rather fond of. Mwezi was shaking slightly from rage at the unnecessary death of the Helm Officer.

OOC: GM can we beam the people onto the ship?

Ooc: I don’t think it’s a good idea.

OOC: Yeaaaaaaaa. I second that. But if you do then you will accept all responsibility for it. It’s your choice.

OOC: I’m not sure it’s IC a good idea, but the transporter system is operational and they would transport. I’ll let you do it, but…

Looking to the bridge crew, “unless someone can give me a really good reason why, I am going to beam these people out of space. Can we get a scan, please? Are they alive and who are they? I will not leave them out there to die.”

“I suspect that they may be linked to our problems,” Mwezi replied, finally speaking up. “I do not think this is a good idea, but at the very least I would suggest that they be transported to the brig, where maximum security fields can be put up to protect us from them should they turn out to be hostiles.”

After hearing the options, Commander Sideman said, ” I will not establish hostile intent....we are not here to make enemies.”

Hitting a button on the communication panel, he continued,

“Bridge to transporter room…lock on to those people outside the ship and beam them in. Security, meet me in the transporter room.”

After he gave the command he looked at the NE lieutenant at the helm and said, “you have the bridge.”

Mwezi suppressed a small growl of annoyance. He wasn’t in charge. He commed a Tactical Lt. NE to come up from the office and relieve him, and once that was settled, he followed Sideman down to transporter. He wasn’t going to leave this up to chance. If there was any chance these oddities were the cause of the Helm officer’s death, he would make sure they saw the justice of the law. Or death. Either would be fine.
