Chandel made her way down to the shuttlebay and the busy activity of crew entering and exiting the shuttlebay was heartening. Entering she headed over to the first shuttle she could see that was being loaded with medical equipment and whatever else they would need for the evacuation. There would most likely be the elderly and injured among the colonists that might need treatment during transfer. She looked around to see who might be in charge of this particular shuttle.

“Counselor I am Lt. Maggie Reed,” a voice said in a blue shirt coming up from behind the counselor. “Medical sent me to see if I can be any help,” she said looking at the woman.

NE Medical doctor

“Ahh, glad to see you, Doctor Reed.” Chandel said as she turned and smiled at the female doctor. ” We are going to be transporting a lot of colonists up from the surface. I imagine there are going to be the elderly, very young and some sick or injured in that number so Medical will be very much appreciated. Supplies have been loaded so you should have everything you might need.” She looked down at the padd as the last of the supplies was green lit to show they were aboard now.

“Looks like we’re ready to go. Ready, Doc?” She said to Maggie as she tapped an acknowledgement on her padd and then strode toward the waiting shuttle.

She boarded with Reed and took her seat. “I have the list of colonists who we’re suppose to pick up so as we get them aboard we need to check their names off the list.” She said to Reed indicating the padd in her hands. Strapping herself in she watied for the shuttle to head down to the surface of the planet.
