(This takes place after Toveka’s call to Duncan “Comm Call- Wolverine” and her promotion to Lieutenant in “Captain, May I?”)

She had come back from the Captain’s office a bit more than a little dazed. So much had happened today. She had woke up with one plan in mind. She was going to hop in a shuttle, explore the debris field, and come back with her readings, curl up with her tea, and go over her collected data.

Instead, she’d been denied by the Security Chief, gone to the Captain about permission and ended up in a long discussion of the rules and regulations for runabout usage in the debris field, and been promoted to Lieutenant. Oh yes… and she had confessed about the last mission she had been on in the field with Duncan and the discovery they had made. And had then called Duncan on the Wolverine to discuss all that had happened.

Now she sat at her desk, just looking at the sparse, science based decor of her room and shook her head. Had she been more invested in her fellow crewmen, she would be in the common room celebrating her promotion. Instead, she sat there in the 40% lit room… alone.

Reaching over, she tapped a quick query out to discover where Tenkiller was. She then hit the comms and waited for his response. Glancing at the chrono, she noticed it was a couple hours still till dinner time.
