The Klingon vessel Khazad’hea sat motionless in orbit around the planet, and on the Bridge of the warship Khain sat relaxed and watched the various screens as he checked on the status of the Lancer and monitored what communications he could from the surface.

The benefit of being on a Klingon Warship, he knew, was being able to sit cloaked like he was and watch proceedings undetected. The Federation base had received a threat, and his vessel was admittedly too small to make much of an impact in the evacuation they would probably begin. It did however pack a punch that could surprise many opponents who thought that size mattered, and in the armaments he carried, Khain had both size and skill in wielding them.
