Alexis eyes light up. Oh this will be exciting. New facility and maybe they can actually use some of the new procedures, techniques, and tools that had been created in the last couple of years. “Well, Cmdr if you’ll point me in the right directions I will go report to Dr. Walker.”

Ahhh, it was lovely! Dira couldn’t help but let herself feel all of Alexis’ excitement. Sure there had been the excitement of a new posting, but there was something that they as health professionals could share in terms of new prospects. The new ship boasted a lot of opportunity to explore and learn and she was excited for the crew as much as she was for herself.

“You’ll find the commander in the Infirmary. He also has a temporary office there as well.,” she said warmly.

“Thank you Cmdr. I’ll report there immediately.” And the consummate officer, Alexis waited to be dismissed.

Myqian gave a nod with a smile. “Alright. Carry on then. And if you need anything, I’ve got a temporary office on the deck above the Infirmary. And as a bonus the station layouts now have it recorded so you can actually find it,” she said. Sure her tone was dry but there was also a hint of amusement.

“Of course Commander. Thank you. I’m sure I’ll see you again before Ogawa is ready.” Alexis nodded and then turned and was gone, moving like a child who is about to open the latest tech toy as soon as they get home.
