Moving over at a relaxed pace, Myian smiled. “Oh, I don’t know that I’d call myself that, but there are some part of physical training that is harder to do in my quarters,” she said. A part of her wanted to draw in closer and rest an arm on the treadmill, but she didn’t want to impede Zoi’s workout, nor did she want to be too forward. “Though, It doesn’t surprise me to see you here,” she added with a grin.

She laughed and nodded. “Yeah. I suppose in that way I am quite predictable.” She realized then that maybe Dira might have come to the Gym to see if she was there but dismissed the thought even as she allowed her eyes to wander over the other woman’s body for a moment. “You seem in pretty good shape. All part and parcel of being an executive officer I imagine.” She said to cover her bodily perusal.

Dira was cautious about allowing her mind to be too open to Zoi, especially since Haven seemed to natural hold a stronger shield than her. But at the same time, it was not hard for her to read very casual body language they were both tossing out. “Partly. I just like being active at times. I’d much rather be doing something outside, but if stuck inside the way we are, I make do.”

“Are you a runner? I don’t know what your plans for your session were. I was going to do Cardio today. Would you like to join me?”

“Wasn’t the plan, but everything about my life here now has been about switching things up and unexpectedly changing directions, so… why the hell not?” Dira said with a laugh. “I can probably keep up for awhile. Never had a problem with the Starfleet fitness tests, but then again I usually wasn’t running alongside the security officers,” she said with a wink.

“Just give me a moment though, I’m going to grab some water to have with me,” Myqian said, stepping backwards away from Zoi and the treadmill, keeping her gaze on the other woman for a few moment before she turned full to cross the gym.

Did not have to be a telapth indeed, Zoi grinned. Their flirtation came so naturally and since their dinner and candid conversation, neither felt the need to fully hide what they were thinking or feeling. It was refreshing. She watched Dira move away for a long moment herself before turning and picking a lovely forest riverside trail run. It would be pretty and sound lovely. The rig was pretty emersive while they were running the program, only vague notions of other gym inhabitants would leak through to them. It was as close to a full holodeck program as they could get for now.

She definitely did not do her usual 30k run, feeling that Dira would not be appreciative. So she settled on a 5k before Dira came back and if they chose to end it early for other activities, she wouldn’t be offended.

It didn’t take long to gather some water into a container she could run with, and while her outfit wasn’t exactly the best running gear, it also was breathable and flexible enough that it would restrict her movement. At least she had the appropriate footwear. Her strides as moved back to the treadmill, Her hips carried a very slight swing and she couldn’t help but smile widely at Zoi, enough to make the corners of her eyes crinkle and their dark depths light eye a bit.

“You know, I am just going to say it, but after the two really busy days I’ve had I’m now looking forward to your company as much as I am a workout to relieve some stress,” Myqian said as he stepped up onto the rig system.
