“Ahhh, choices,” Dira said with a laugh. “I’d normally go for the boozy one, but not a fan of cherries. However, raspberries remind me of uttaberries, which I love. And the more chocolate the better, so chocolate cake for me,” she said with a dramatic shift of her eyebrows.

“What are you going for?”

She approved of the other womans choice. She too liked boozy desserts though unlike her dinner companion, she liked cherries. “Well I too enjoy a good boozy dessert and I like cherries but only fresh ones. It will be the good old stand by of Hazelnut dacquiose for me.”

“It does sound good,” Dira agreed.

Zoi leaned forward with a grin. “I’ll share mine if you share yours.” She said overly salaciously and dramatic complete with eyebrow wiggle though she was terrible at it. That probably added to ridiculousness of her action though and made it less sleazy and more caricature in nature.

Myqian gave her a conspiratorial grin despite wanting to laugh slightly at Zoi’s antics. “It’s a deal!” she said in a low voice.

Waving over a server, Dira put in their order as their dishes. “And also a cup of jestral tea with a shot of Terran brandy,” she added before looking at Zoi. “Did you want anything else?”

Zoi thought about the tea and brandy. She had never had brandy and she was intrigued. “I will take the same.” She said to the server before turning back to Dira. She was curious about this woman and their dinner had been productive thus far. “Do you put the shot in the tea? Or drink it straight?”
