As promised, she set up an appointment for her boarding physical (such as it was). She knew that with the varied state of the crew that anyone from the Ogawa’s med team could be assigned to do so, so she stepped in with a open mind and keen eyes.

The new XO stepped into the Infirmary, cutting a tidy figure in her command uniform. Her mass of tight curls was pinned neatly down in twists along the top of head, allowed to pouf out at the back. A few steps in, she came to stand quietly with her hands behind her back, fingers held loosely. She was infinitely patient, but also happy to just take in the mixed team environment that was the Starbase’s medical staff mixed with the Ogawa’s. She could pin point a few faces she recognized but for the moment was content to just see if and when she was noticed. It wasn’t overly busy with patients but there was a steady stream of work going on that she could see.

Drake stepped forward. “Commander. What brings you in today?” He was in an oddly good mood. Temporary assignment here had been good for his mental health.

She spread her hands out to the side as she smiled warmly at the doctor. “Just here for a boarding physical, such as it is. If you’ve got a few minutes?” Dira asked lightly. She didn’t want to presume that people would just drop everything because she walked into the room, but a physical was pretty basic and not exactly time-consuming.

“If you’ll take a seat at biobed…” Drake looked around “four. Right there. I’ll be with you in a minute.”

He gathered a tricorder and PaDD. “Can I have your full name commander? Have to pull up your records.”
