Gordon had just finished a security check of the nearest Jeffries tube and passageway, he was starting to find it tedious but knew the devil was in the detail. As he stepped into the somewhat deserted he nodded to the older nurse manning the check in desk, “Just need to do an inspection, is that okay?” He said in a cheery voice while tapping his tricorder.

The older nurse nodded, “Place is empty, I’ll kick you out if we need.” he said going back to reading a PaDD.

With a sigh Gordon began scanning slowly and deliberately, he tried to split his time equally between scanning, visually and physically checking each section as he had been taught. He was also quite impressed with the layout and facilities of the McCoy class ship, the ship was older but somehow felt solid and reliable.

Muir was poking around, as security is want to do, when he was over come with the smell of roses and wet paint. After a few dizzying moments and some rapid eye blinks he gathered his sense enough to realize he had a need to speak with the CO. Something in the back of his mind nagged at him that she wasn’t happy with him, not in the slightest.
