After the ceremony had ended, Duvosa found herself at a table eating the prepared dinner with a few crew members that she didn’t know. The meal went by mostly in silence, except for a particular NE who tried to nervously start conversation.

As she was done eating, Duvosa excused herself and made her way over to the bar. She ordered a drink - a whiskey sour, and turned her back to the bar, looking out at the room as the crowd started to dissipate. It was always fascinating to her to observe people in settings such as this.

Sipping her drink quietly, she observed a nearby conversation between to NE’s about some kind of surgery they were to perform the next day. It all sounded rather boring to her, but then again what should she expect being stationed on a medical ship.
