After the awards had been presented and the meal that she had organised been served and eaten and most people we’re discussing amongst themselves now Willow wandered to the bar and ordered a very large glass of wine. She sipped at it greatfully and closing her eyes sighed as she slid into the stool away from the majority of the crew. Just a few minutes of quiet and wine that’s all she needed.

Her thoughts drifted to the fate of Commande Brookes and she sighed again. The woman she had seen could only be the XO sent to replace her. Willow pondered if she should warn the new woman that the position was likely cursed.
