After the events of the last few days, Pilar finally took some time to spend with her family as they made final preparations for Otana’s surgery and hopefully a better future for her. Both Pilar and Derrick knew that they would always have to deal with the brain injury and the behaviors that went with it, had they found it after she was returned to them, the problems may not have been as extensive but here they were and now that they had a course of action, Pilar felt only slightly better.
