USS Ogawa
Side sim - Deck 5 - Passage ways around crew quarters - Running
Gordon stepped out of his shared crew quarters sleepily yawning, he had never been a quick riser unless in the field, so he was still rubbing the sleep from his eyes as he stepped into the passageway. It was quiet around this time as the next watch change wasn’t for another 3 hours but this was exactly as Gordon had hoped, he wanted to spend an hour or so running when the foot traffic would be at its minimal. He sported the standard Starfleet Physical Training(PT) attire, a rather drab affair of grey long sleeve T-Shirt with an equally drab pair of grey shorts. If it weren’t for his rather uncovered legs he probably could have blended into the bulkheads rather well.
He slowly began jogging down the passage way making his way for’rard past several more crew quarters and towards some Science Labs, he only knew this because he’d accidentally went into one when looking for his quarters. His footfalls reverberated lightly as he followed the gentle curving bulkheads from port to starboard, it wouldn’t be long before he was abeam of his starting position and heading Aft. If he was right the botanical section was down that way, he considered stopping in there after his wanders around the ship to take in the smells. For some reason unknown to Gordon he really enjoyed the smells in the Botanics section, perhaps it was because the colony where he was born was surrounded by arid desert.
Gordon braced up as he passed a young female Andorian Medical or Science Ensign coming the opposite way, “Morning Ma’am”, he said in as chirpy a manner as someone who’s only been awake 20 minutes can be. She nodded and carried on, he discreetly waited until he was past her before looking back. One advantage, in Gordon’s opinion, of serving on a medical ship was the surprising amount of rather young and attractive female crew-members. It didn’t totally outweigh the chances of being used as a possible test subject for whatever crazy scheme these bone saws came up with next, but it helped.
He began to pass back through the crew quarters on the Starboard side of the ship and vaguely remembered some of the names of crew-members he knew here but was sure he got a fair few wrong....he decided to increase the pace until he made it to the Aft Turbolift, dodging left and right as people emerged from their humble abodes sleepily.
