Deck 3 - Reez Quarters, Main Sim
Posted by Commander Talyn Kree (XO) in Deck 3 - Reez Quarters, Main Sim : : : : : The twins didn’t reply, but just looked at Anisha curiously. Mel smiled and brushed the tops of their heads with a hand and moved to enter her quarters. : : : : : : : : : : Stepping in, the place was a mix of both her and Jon, with various books, plants and textiles. the plants of course had been placed off the ground now that the twins were mobile. On one wall was a prominent shelf with a few items that seemed special: a rare set of Betazoid crystals from versina from Mount Traxanaxanos (one of Betazed’s highest peaks), a rare book on Cross Cultural Sociology by the late Professor Grren Grey, earplugs and a bottle of pills labelled “In case husband talks too much”, a cast iron frying pan with a comfort handle, a lava lamp and a Betazoid dinner chime suspended from a finely polished alloy frame with a well formed striker nestled in beside it (closer inspection would reveal that a plaque on the base read “U.S.S. Endeavour NCC-76801”). : : : : : : : : : : Other than that it looked like babies definitely lived in the place. : : : : : : : : : : ~Melaia Reez : : : : : : : : Inside there was no one there and no visible threat. But once again there was a strange feeling of despair that lasted for several seconds before fading away. : : : : : : : : ~Mischief Maker : : : : : : Anisha followed her and walked around covering the other half of the room beside Melaia. Do you feel that it’s like chasing the ghost of an emotion. Does anything in here look out of place…oooohhh you got Versina crystals…how beautiful : : : : : Melaia smiled briefly. “They were one of our wedding gifts.” : : : : : And then suddenly Melaia heard another thought that seemed to come from Anisha’s mind, but was clearly not Anisha : : : : : : Focus Anisha, I don’t like this, you should report it to the Captain. : : : : : : There is nothing here Arun. came her answering thought. : : : : : : - Anisha and Arun : : : : Reez moved about her quarters, momentarily reaching out to reassure her children, even though they couldn’t reply in a telepathic way. She looked around, she stopped and moved back to a spot. Here. There’s nothing wrong with our quarters, but the sensation feels strongest right here. But it it isn’t consistent. It’s like a person’s emotions that fluctuate, but ti doesn’t feel like any person I have felt before. : : : : ~Melaia Reez : : The inconsistency of the feeling continued and emanated for a brief moment where Melaia stood and it was enough for Anisha to feel certain about that fact. But there was nothing there that they could see. : : ~Mischief Maker Anisha also zeroed in on the spot, standing face to face with Melaia and looked puzzled. I agree. It’s here, yet it isn’t. Do you believe in ghosts? she thought. Maybe we should get somebody from Science down here
- Anisha Onuru
Perhaps. I do have a science background though. I just don’t have any equipment, but Jon keep a med kit in here at all times. I think we should notify the bridge though. If I were the Captain, I’d want to know, even if there wasn’t anything concrete, Mel replied.
But I do think it’s safe to bring the babies in and I’d like them to be where I can see them, Mel added, moving to the corridor to retrieve her children. She could at least keep them just inside the door until they figured out whatever they needed to.
~Melaia Reez
Few moments passed and a door could be heard as it swooshed open. Jonathan looked a little stunned, he wasn’t sure what was going on as he entered, his eyes darting to Mel then to Anisha. “Red?” Jon asked with a worried tone to his voice.
