“Ow…” Willows, slightly winded, voice said from the floor. She opened her eyes to see McNair looming over her. Well at least it wasn’t Brad, she would never have lived it down. Or Jarvis for that matter…she shuddered at the thought and then realising she was a senior officer on the ship and on her back. She needed to get up. Heat flooded her cheeks.

And murder the Ensign who had knocked her down. As the thought crossed her mind she immediately regretted it. Poor Hart. She bit her lip.

“I’m fine. Just fine Ensign.” She told James and started pushing herself to her feet.

Another hand reached out to the side and grasped hers, helping to pull Willow upright. “There you go my dear. I do hope you didn’t hit your head,” Hendricks said. He flashed her a grin, winking as he added. “Wouldn’t want you to hurt that pretty head of yours.”

Willow stared at Hendricks and felt her cheeks flush of their own accord, she could imagine herself watching this scene on the show. She allowed Hendricks to pull her to her feet and considered her options. He was a very handsome looking man, and he knew it, That much she could tell from the way he spoke and carried himself. She put a hand on the back of her head and closed her eyes, “Bit of a bump but I’m sure I’ll be ok.” She told him.

Meanwhile, the intern, Dr. Kiara Mercer had moved closer to Cadet Damiselle. “It’s going to be okay, Daniella,” you’ll see,” she said gently.

“How can it be okay when he’s dead?” the cadet tossed back. Mercer didn’t have a whole lot to add to that.

Zoi stayed out of everyone’s way, watching the Cadet and everyone around her, but not leaving the area near the Cadet. There was no other security in the Sickbay so she would have to do for now. IT didn’t look like any of the intruders were malicious, but she couldn’t guarantee that.

Pilar moved over to Zoi and Willow and motioned them to step away with her “We have a new situation.” She said looking mostly at Willow once they were away from the others “The cadet is some sort of photonic being. There are detectable tachyons present.” She said “I have not seen anything like this in all my years of medicine.” She said “I don’t know that they pose a threat. The young lady has no physical injuries, but she will need to speak with a counselor to process whatever has happened.”

Head Nurse

Willow nodded. “Contact Doctor Darren, if I could talk with you both a moment.” She said and also indicating for McNairn to follow moved out of ear shot of the others.

“We think we may be trapped in some sort of soap opera. These beings are characters, they think this is a Hospital Starbase and that we are part of their story line. While we work out what happened to Hart we need to figure out what the point of this whole thing is. Doctor Walker is currently doing an autopsy, we will know more about the killer then, it seems very coincidental and I don’t like coincidence.”

She looked at the people. “I’m sure all of them will register the same as the cadet. For now we need to play along with them and try to find out what the plot of this is. That was we will work out what’s happened and how we can stop it.” Looking at each one she added. “I hope none of you have a twin.”

Pilar simply nodded and returned to the Cadet “I’m going to find you a quiet room to lay down in for a bit. Just rest and I’ll see if I can get our counselor to come in and talk with you.” She said as she helped the cadet down from the bio bed and lead her to a side room.” Once she had the cadet settled, she touched her comm badge =^=Lt Darren, please report to sickbay. I have a patient for you.=^= Pilar said

Ooc: Roger, Tyra, I am voiding both of these posts at the moment, primarily because Roger it isn’t possible for you to be in this thread https://www.star-fleet.com/core/stf3/ogawa/notes/61327/ and in this sickbay one as they are happening at the same time. Therefore Tyra’s reply is also void. I have cut that section out and will report it in a side sim thread for you both to continue with.

It is an excellent post so please do continue. However the main sim focus needs to be the foremost of this thread for now.
