Pilar looked down “She has a brain injury that is going to require a lot of therapy and retraining.” She said “Dr. ALly and Jonathan were going to use the holodeck to work on stress reduction and and increasing frustration toleration.” Pilar sighed “After surviving the war and being tortured by the Cardassians myself, I have a serious hatred for the Cardassians and they have not found the Cardassians that took my daughter. I have a serious desire for revenge.” She added.

Willow nodded and considered her carefully, “ I understand. We can of course look into whatever programs that Doctors Scott and Reez were planning and create an action plan. If you like I can ask Doctor Walker to come and discuss with us? Would that be ok?” As head of medical Walker would have full access to all the records, and Willow was sure he would have a better idea on things than she did.

Pilar nodded “I have no worries about that. I am open to it.” She said “I just want it to be known that I will continue looking for the Cardassians that took my daughter and work on treating her injuries and coming up with a plan to give her the best life possible.” Pilar said

Willow nodded. While not technically a mother herself she understood completely in some ways what the woman must feel. Her stomach dropped at the idea that this should happen to Cai. To cover the feeling her mind automatically added in something anecdotal like, they’d probably return him for being a difficult brat. It didn’t help.

“Come in.” Willow called at the door then nodded as it opened to reveal the chief of staff. “Brad, come sit.” She said indicating a chair. “I thought this may be something you could be of use with.” She motioned Pilar to explain.

Brad crossed the room, nodding to both women as he took the indicated seat. He had a suspicion as to what this was about, having encountered the file as he was going over his former assistant’s records.
