Hey folks,

So unfortunately David and Kate have decided to retire Ally and Rico for now. I’d like to take this opportunity to thank them both for the hard work and fun sides sims they have played on the ship and for their part in the recommissioning of the owie.

Thank you both.

I am also delighted to announced that Amber has agreed to take over duties as CoS with her character Zoi Haven. This is effective immediately Ooc and as soon as possible IC. Thank you Amber and congrats.

Finally I am delighted to also welcome to the Owie, Shalon Hubert who will be taking the post of assistant chief medical officer. Sharon we are so happy to have you. Your welcome pack will be with you in three to ninety months. (I ran out of box tops) but in the mean time, I can offer a stuffed penguin, a clove of garlic and this slightly chewed pen for your protection.

Please don’t feed the command staff after midnight, beware Doctor Marshall…he may attack for your arm ;) and watch our for the engineers they can be a bit hairy. If you start to flow in the dark rest assured you will stop noticing after a few weeks like we all did. And I promise we will get that radiation leak fixed eventually.

Welcome aboard. A slight correction it’s not Hair it’s fur and being as big as M’Nalie is it isn’t a bit it’s a great deal. The Radiation leak has been harnessed for the betterment of crew moral as it is now contained and harnessed in the distilling process to bring everyone a better grade of moonshine.

Just a quick update, Steven Has also decided to leave the Owie, again I’d like to thank him for all his hard work and dedication getting the ship re-commissioned.

Sarah has kindly agreed to move her character up to the role of chief psychiatrist. This will take place Ooc immediately and IC as soon as possible. Congrats Sarah and thank you.

It is a long standing Naval tradition in the Navy that since the age of steam every ship has a illegal but ignored still that everyone except green ensigns knows exists but pretends they do not know about. This is done as a outlet to ease frutration with regulations and to boost moral. As long as nobody gets drunk it’s ignored. It is ofc never brought up by a canon source but is considered one of the traditions Starfleet maintains. Like the British Navy’s Rum ration it’s seen as a thing good for Moral. If you wander into engineering and ask for the paint stripper the right ppl will hear of it.
