“Alright. That’s another one. That’s four. Lt Tressex, can you pinpoint number 5 for security?”

-Lt(j.g.) Mark Pierce, CE

Lt. Cmdr. Dr. Brad Walker
Chief of Staff

OOC: You all crack me up!
IC:
Tressex would know by process of elimination that Number 5 was the one on the triage deck.

~Mischief Maker

“Last one is the one in triage, Captain. That is all signatures accounted for. I will keep scanning for others, but I do recommend we move the ship away from the edge of the subspace pocket.” and he looked back at his console and began running a background scan of the ship every minute for similar signatures to the five while simultaneously trying to correlate all the data and readings form the subspace pocket itself.

Tressex, CSO

=/\= Lemann to Walker. I know I’m new around here, but did you forget to mention a Doctor Hendricks? =/\=

Crosspost.

=/\=Congratulations, Doctor, you just met one of our Captain’s imaginary friends,=/\= Brad replied. =/\=Assuming he’s not the same one I just told Dr. Jarvis to deal with, kindly tell him he’ll find who or whatever it is he’s looking for in the Primary Sickbay.=/\=

Lt. Cmdr. Dr. Brad Walker
Chief of Staff

Ooc: They aren’t my imaginary friends! :p

OOC: Your favorite show, you get the blame ;D

IC: NE pointsthingsout turned to look at the assembled senior staff. “I mean is it totally safe to let the captain go off on her own with one of these things? Whatever they are?”

NE

=/\= Yay, me! =/\= Jessica’s initial response came through with remarkably unsarcastic delight. =/\= Should I have him escorted there? Can I nominate Doctor McNair for that task if so? =/\=
Com

=/\=Sure, why not,=/\= Brad replied. =/\=I need somebody to check on conditions up there anyway. Have him touch base with Commander O’Keefe and report back to me.=/\=

=/\= On it, Doctor. =/\=

=/\=Commander Brooks to Bridge, we are still investigating Ensign Hart’s quarters, but in light of the recent new information, I doubt we are going to find anything. Returning to bridge.=/\=

-Lt. Cmdr. Brooks, XO

Brad looked around, startled as he heard the XO over the comms.

“Oh, bloody hell, how do I keep getting roped into being the senior officer up here?” he asked quietly.

=/\=Understood, see you soon,=/\= he replied to Brooks.

“Alright. I know I’m not a scientist, but we’re surrounded by characters from my grandmother’s favourite soap opera. So, making sense doesn’t seem to be the barrier to entry here. Once we get out of the subspace pocket, these ‘people’ should destabilise, maybe go away entirely. They’re products of this environment, leaving it can’t be good for them.” He paused. “Especially not at warp speed.” He added darkly.

-Lt(j.g.) Mark Pierce, CE

“All the more reason to get them up to Deck 1 before then,” Brad said. “That way, there’s only a few centimeters of hull metal between them and their home when we do blast out of here.”

Though it did raise questions about 1) how they got on board in the first place, and 2) spread all over the ship almost instantly.

Willow returned from the ready room and glanced at the assembled section heads. “Thank you for responding. We will move to the briefing room. Doctor Walker…” she said to Brad as she passed him leading the way out. “…please tell me you have something for a headache.”

“Would prefer an injection or a powder?” Brad asked in reply, falling in behind her.

Ooc: ok…all section and department heads switch to the briefing room thread. Harley assume you catch us on the way from the bridge.

Lt. Cmdr. Dr. Brad Walker
Chief of Staff

Willow looked grim. “At this rate I’d take beads and rattles if it would get rid of the throb.” She replied as they walked.

“Injection it is,” Brad said, fishing out a hypospray and a cartridge from his lab coat, loading it and pressing it quickly to Willow’s neck.

“Let me know if you’re still feeling it after 10 minutes or so, and drink some water.”

Lt. Cmdr. Dr. Brad Walker
Chief of Staff

Erika had followed Willow out of the ready room a moment later and gave her a wink as she headed for the turbolift.

~Mischief Maker

With a great full nod at Brad Willow watched the woman, Erika, walk out and shook her head. Something wasn’t right about that woman, she just couldn’t put her finger on what.
