M’Nalie flicked an ear in amusement, “You realise Doctor that as a Caitan I have what humans would call superior flexability. Even with miy size I can out contort most of humanity. Also doctor because of the fact that my subspecies is as comfortable on all fours as on two limbs , we are what humans term double jointed.”, A trait that the smaller so called main species of Caitans no longer enjoy. Yoga is not much of a challenge to me. However I would enjoy spending time with you as many of the crew find me intimidating anud avoid me.”, M’Nalie rumbled , her ears and tail motioning out forms a Caitan would intpret as honored and pleased by your request.

Jessica grinned at the engineer. “While I’m very competitive, yoga is one place that it’s more about your personal practice than turning into a better pretzel than the person next to you,” she observed. Her small blonde head tilted to the head as she processed the rest of M’Nalie’s statement. “Well, one of my closest friends is a Caitan.” She shrugged to emphasize the nonchalance of her point. It didn’t matter to her what species her friends were, just like it didn’t matter what one they were when she was treating them.

M’Nalie was amused by the idea of a non competative activity. She was greatly amused by the declaration of friendship with another Caitan, “You are aware doctor that the more populous Caitans you meet and consider Caitans are culturally much like the Japanese culture in that they never show you their true opinions but will always be polite and accomidating to your face? Though I must admit that my view of them is rather biased by my cultures ongoing hostilities with them.”

Jess didn’t even seem to give M’Nalie’s comment a second thought before laughing heartily. “I’m pretty darn sure about her true opinions,” she commented as she recalled experiencing both the drunk version and the heavily medicated version of her friend. “And I’m not sure I agree about the polite and accomodating to my face.” She laughed again as she remembered the first time she had met M’Lene in Sickbay and then shook her head as the memory amused her. “But lucky for you, that’s how I got my experience treating your species.”
