M’Nalie flicked an ear, “It would be good to have a opponant who would be a challenge. Perhaps grappling as a last test. It would not benefit your pupils to potentially injure one another before they could get their workout. Maybe a warm up jog. Some weights and a swim? I do not know what you planned to do with the kittenss today but it is their day and I would not get in the way of putting some muscle on them.” She rumbled

Moments before Echego began the Holodeck program, a small blonde popped up next to M’Nalie. One studious look at the very large feline later, she waved to the person she assumed was Echego. She looked busy for the moment so she would catch up with her later, but this seemed like a prime opportunity to get to know some of the children who would partially be in her care on the ship.

Echego flicked her wrist in kind.

“Muscle isn’t built in a day,” she glanced at the gathered students, “or weeks..for that matter.” Shaking her head, Echego noted the time. They were beginning to run late. Grumbling to herself, the Klingon woman made her way for the holodeck’s programmer, “Holodeck. Activate: Echego-SRD-01.” Within seconds the doors had peeled open to reveal a pleasant, trimmed field. Subtle warmth flooded from within, inviting as if neglecting its host and her hidden agenda. “All right. Let’s get going!”

Ms. Echego

M’Nalie entered eager to get started, the larger than a regular door holodeck arch letting her do so mostly upright. She walked a few yards letting her toes feel the grass and dirt. She took a deep breath and let it out. Sniffing and tasting the air, while she looked around.

Jessica bounded forward once the Holodeck doors opened, stopping once she was on the grass to turn her face up to feel the slight warmth provided by the program. She gently pulled one ankle behind her to stretch her leg before switching to the other, being wary that she hadn’t yet warmed up and wouldn’t have the flexibility she expected. She took the few moments that she needed to remain still to check out the other participants, grinning at M’Nalie when her eyes dropped onto her form. A pang of sadness coursed through her as she thought about the last Caitan she had spent a significant amount of time with, but she quickly pushed that aside, determined to enjoy the provided program.

The sky, dappled with fluffy clouds, overlooked the field as it curved downwards into a reservoir. Latched onto the land, as if holding on for dear life, a somewhat sturdy dock seemed lonely in its vigil. “I suggest you all change,” Echego gestured to a wooden shack outlined by yellow flowers..a poor attempt at making its antiquity somewhat appealing to the human mind. “Seeing as humans are so concerned by the separation of genders, males are on the left and females are on the right. If you have neglected a bath towel, proper shoes or any other supplies necessary, you will find them at your disposal,” she surveyed the group, “if you know where to look.”

The whole scene gave off vibe of a 20th century ‘summer camp’. Echego did not dabble in the conventional. She found education was best done outside the presence of technology. Today, her students and guests would have no access to modern tech; they would be left to their own devices and raw, sentient instinct.

While she waited, Echego slung a bag over her shoulder, making her way down to the lakeside where she began setting up for their activities. There was no telling what the Klingon had in mind, but it would–without doubt–be interesting.

Echego, Educator

She had spent four years on earth while at the academy, she had visited every corner possible wh7en she had time off. the camp had a eastern American feel to it. It wasn’t her favorite place on earth. It was the people not the region she distrusted really and she didn’t think there would be a lot of interaction with people in this holosimulation.
She followed Ecego to lake side. Nothing in the changing hut would likely fit her in any case and if the excercise suit she wore became wet she would endure it.
She streached and flexed as a warm up the sat looking at the lake quietly while waiting on the others.

Jessica followed shortly thereafter, the tank top she had worn when she first joined them in the Holodeck removed to show that she was wearing a modest but form accentuating deep purple one piece swim suit underneath. She still had her running shorts on, but she had exchanged her running shoes for a pair of comfortable looking sandals. A fluffy pink towel as tucked under one of her arms as she looked around the setting, curious to see where this was going next.

Jessica dropped her towel alongside the very large Caitian that seemed to be joining in this activity as well. Her blonde ponytail bouncing as she made her way up to her, she gave a friendly smile to M’Nalie. “Hi! I’m Jess, one of the doctors on the ship. “

M’Nalie looked Jess over from head to toe and smiled back at her. M’Nalie being a Carnivore though the smile wasn’t usually a comfortable one for most other species.
“Doctor. I am M’Nalie. I do not want to be disrespectful but I have been warned by fellow officers to avoid surgeons on this ship as the surgery team is severely lacking in sanity. I have no desire either to be involved in unethical medical practices that I am warned one of the doctors aparently was in prison for having performed prior to being assigned to this ship. This of course is unverified chatter by crew who seem to enjoy saying negative things about others. Gossip I think you call it? The concept of discussing cronjecture and the mutation of that conjecture as it is passed from person to person is astonishing to me. My clan do not indulge in such practices as it leads to misinformation and misunderstandings. So perhaps you could clarify the veracity of the gossip statements so that should I be injured I can decide if it would be preferable to die rather than trust the medical staff.”, she asked in a serious bass rumble to Dr. Jess.
