James sighed as he looked up at the wall from his bed. He knew it was about time he reported in for duty but he had been putting it off. He couldn’t quite believe that only a few days ago he was a hot shot head doctor in one of the best trauma and emergency hospitals that Starfleet had to offer. A stupid mistake later followed by a disciplinary and he was busted back down to the rank of Ensign and assigned to the Ogawa to be forgotten about. He sighed again and swung his legs off his bunk. He rubbed his eyes and his forehead and stood up and headed towards sickbay.

He was a tall well built man in his mid forties. His hair was short and and brown with flecks of silver to show his age. He had a bristly beard that also had flecks of grey. The trip to sickbay was uneventful and he made it to the entrance within a few minutes. He wasn’t really sure exactly who he had to report to. Not being a surgeon or a nurse but he guessed he was about to find out. He stepped through the doors and headed over to one of the offices that guessed was where whoever was in charge worked. He pressed the chime and waited to be called in.
