“I don’t think it is mattering much. Doctors are present in both. Come with me, I can do new crew process.”

Scott gave a parting glance to the Dentist, not sure if the visage had the power to dismiss him, or even if he would. Or even if he would get out of his dental examination. Did Crewman Black just enjoy watching new crew squirm? That would have to be a question he would ask and answer later.

Black for his part simply watched them go. As they vanished he had a moment where his head tilted and he looked sad. OH BOTHER, I DID NOT ASK HIM IF HE FLOSSED. h said regretfully then wandered away,

“If you will kindly be sitting there, I will begin exam.” Yelchin pointed at a biobed. “What is your name?”

Scott followed Yelchin into the turbo lift and up to the second deck before winding his way through the halls to the second sickbay. Finally when he was there he hopped up on the biobed and laid down.

“Lieutenant Scott Woods, engineering,” the pudgy man reported as he closed his eyes and attempted to relax.
