It had been a week or so since Duvosa had been on board the Ogawa. She had spent her time mostly tending to her duties and getting her things organized in her quarters.

It was a typical evening for her, after her shift, she got some dinner for herself and found a quiet table in the crew lounge. As she walked from the replicator with her tray of food, she noticed the few officers present staring at her, but she paid them little mind. Finding an empty table, she sat down, starting to eat quietly.

M’Nalie didn’t eat in public usually but she was well aware that her smaller crew mates socialized in eating places. Her own people didn’t have such a tradition as each clan member hunted for themselves and their young. So the closest thing was a mother feeding her kits. She made her way to the replicator and ordered a Caitan broth. Then looked about for a place to sit.

Duvosa looked up briefly as the burly looking Caitian walked through the door. That one looks like trouble

The Romulan looking woman made no effort to conceal her stare down of the Engineer, nor did she make any sort of greeting. There were plenty of other seats, and one only needed take a look at Duvosa to realize she probably preferred her solitude.

M’Nalie’s entire point was of being in the lounge was to socialise, So sitting alone defeated the purpose of her being there. Clumps and clusters of people chatted pretty much all of them of course looked her way. Most them went back to eating or talking. But one Vulcan woman seemed to be glaring at her. How unlike a Vulcan that was. It was a curiosity that M’Nalie could not resist investigating. So she headed in that dirrection. Such a unrelenting gaze could only be on purpose. A Challenge? Some people sought out the toughest to prove themselves against. M’Nalie couldn’t help but be pleased that she was seen as being the toughest. So she passed very close to the Vulcan. So close that the fur of her fotearm brushed against the Vulcan woman. Placed her tray directly besides the woman and knelt on the floor sitting back on her ankes. Then being eye to eye with the seated woman she looked at her and purr rumbled. “Hello.”
