M’Nalie kept upright as much as possible. But doors were just too short. She could duck but it looked awkward and she was as vain as any normal Caitan. Of course using all fours she might be seen as a animal. But animals were dangerous and the sooner the crew learned that M’Nalie could be dangerous the better for everyone.
She stopped in front òf the councilors office had her combadge ping her location so there was a notation that she had been here and tried to see the councilor and tapped the door chime. It was tempting to just run off. But that was a childish thing to do. She grinned she could be childish sometimes this wasn’t a good time. She could also go in aggressive. Nobody even knew she was on the ship. Scaring the daylight out of the councilor would definately calm her nerves. But in thle end it would complicate her life to much. Security was to much of a pain to deal with and years of anger management had left her shy of pretending to what came naturally. This was a house cat moment. That M’Nalie thought of normal Caitans as spoiled, lazy, pampered, house pets would of no doubt offended her entire species and she didn’t really czre if it did. But you had to be polite. She had been sneered at and called a Kzintoid only once in her life. That foolish house cat would always limp now. No M’Nalie would be polite. There was to much to lose.Ensign M’Nalie. Eng.
OOC: Let me know if you’d prefer to grab this one, Steven.
IC:
“Uhhh, enter!” came a hesitant voice from inside the office that M’Nalie had selected.
Lt Darren, Psychiatrist
M’Nalie dropped to all fours to enter she was as comfortable on four as on two but doorways were a problem in either form and harder yet if she just ducked to enter. With four legs she could squeeze herself past the doorframe with more power so not risk getting stuck as had happened once. Once past the door she stopped and waited. People who didn’t know her often paniced when she first met them. So rising upright immediately could endanger anyone who might have a weak heart.
“Ensign M’Nalie. Ma’am. ” she rumbled in her deep but somehow feminine bass voice. “I am a bit overdo for my boarding physical my appologies Ma’am.” She rumbled politely. And waited to see just how the woman would react to a tiger in formal attire walking into the room.
