SNIPWillow frowned slightly. “Is she alright?” She asked in the same low tone. “I sent Cai to secondary sickbay thinking it would be safe there, we seem to have accidental fallen into a sub space pocket and have no helm control at the moment. There has been a fatality in the lounge it appears also.”
“She’ll be fine. Just a dislocated shoulder,” she smiled at Captain Taylor.
Willow looked at helm. “Any luck reestablishing control helm?” She asked louder now.

COOoc: Anyone not involved in a main sim thread yet feel free to jump in here if you like.
=/\=Sickbay to Cmdr Brooks. Your daughter has been taken into emergency surgery.=/\=
-Dr Drake Marshall
An icy chill fell over her entire body, but she was confused, was the dislocation that severe? =/\=I think a bit more of an explanation would not be out of order, Dr. Marshall.=/\= Her voice was far more stern than she had intended.
-Lt. Cmdr. Brooks, XO
=/\=Dr Jarvis didn’t share too much, but from what he did say, he’s going to need to perform a splenectomy and repair some other internal damage that’s causing bleeding.=/\=
-Dr Drake Marshall
=/\=Understood. Thank you, Dr. Marshall. Brooks out.=/\= She stood quietly for a moment staring off into the distance not entirely sure she had heard what she had just heard. How could it be? Her daughter had seemed fine just moments ago. Splenectomy? “The table!” she exclaimed, “she must have fallen against the table.”
Willow clenched her jaw and watched her XO a moment. Did she make a point about how she had banned Jarvis from surgery…clearly it was an emergency situation and she didn’t want to make the situation worse. No now she would hold her tongue. Then later she would personally throw the creepy criminal into the brig herself.
NE Sonso was at Ops and quickly ran her fingers across the panel to get a total number of reported casualties so far.
NE Whodat scanned for warp signatures, and sub-space communications and signatures.

The pangs of worry and dread had caused Commander Brooks to forget where she was for a moment. Although she was very tempted to ask permission to leave the bridge one bit of information from Doctor Marshall prevented her from doing so: Doctor Jarvis was performing the surgery. Her daughter would be just fine. “Captain,” she began, already anticipating what Captain Taylor was thinking, “I’d like permission to stay on the bridge. Sadee is in good hands. I’ll be far more valuable here. Down there I would only be worrying.”
-Lt. Cmdr. Brooks, XO
Willow had been watching Brooks. “I understand Commander if you wanted to go to sickbay and monitor the situation from there.”
The current count on reported injuries stood at fifteen. And one death. But with people still moving to duty stations, it was possible a few more of the crew had yet to make to medical to report their injuries.

=/\=Pierce to bridge. We could restore impulse power by cutting nonessential systems. I’m going to trace the navigational system fault so we can get moving.=/\=
-Lt(j.g.) Mark Pierce, CE
=/\=Chief Pierce, how long will it take you to trace the problem. Can you divert some of that power you are shutting down to helm control and sensors? =/\=
=/\=It’s a diagnostic on the navigational system, hopefully it won’t take too long. Now, if you’re willing to settle for 3/4 impulse power, I can try to liven up the sensors, helm was never going offline. I believe the plan is to restore control to the bridge nav console. But we’re not getting the warp core back until we get out of here. We can’t generate a warp bubble. I’ll keep working on it, but safe assumption is that we’re impulse only and on low power for a while.=/\=
-Lt(j.g.) Mark Pierce, CE
“Captain, subspace pockets like this have been reported but are highly unpredictable. We could intersect an alternate reality, or multiple realities. We could experience time loops, go back or move forward. The point is, we have no way of knowing what we could be dealing with. The longer we are here, the more likely we are to experience these things. Frankly, I dont want to run into alternate reality me.” She tried to smile and maintain a level of calmness, though inside she was squirming.
Lt. Cmdr. Brooks, XO
Tressex nodded in agreement and said “I concur, Captain. We need ot get out of here as quickly as possible. But to do that, we need to get somewhere any subspace distortions, fluctuations, and such are as minimal as possible. We need to move towards the center of the field as soon as we can.” and Tressex began scanning specifically for any other ships or planets in the area.

Ooc: Guys helm was unresponsive as per GM comment.
IC: Willow looked between the CSO and XO. “Agreed.” She looked at the NE at helm, “Are we back in control Ensign?”
Once they had organised helm control Willow nodded. “Take us into the centre of the field. Let’s see what we can do about getting out of this.”
A quick check of the casualties list, a fatality… Willow hit her badge. =^= Taylor to Walker. Report Doctor.=^=
=/\=I can confirm one fatality in the lounge, Captain,=/\= Brad reported. =/\=Fortunately, or unfortunately I suppose, it doesn’t appear to have been directly caused by our misadventure. We’re looking at some sort of homicide down here. Security is investigating as well. The victim is Engineering Ensign Branson Hart.=/\=

COLt. Cmdr. Dr. Brad Walker
Chief of Staff“Um, excuse me sirs. Engineering. We’re attempting to restore navigational control, I need to get at some relays though. I’ll try to stay out of the way.” With that the NE set to work with her partner working parallel decks below.
