Tressex looked up and said “Captain, we appear to have, for lack of a better word, ‘fallen’ into a subspace pocket. Or perhaps pulled would be more appropriate. Regardless. We are now in subspace. A pocket of subspace measuring approximately 2 light years long, 1 light year wide and 1 light year in height. We are near one edge, and I would recommend that we move towards the center as soon as we are able. There are multiple distortions and things best left alone if possible. The center of this ‘pocket’ is a bit more stable. But we shouldn’t dally too long. The entire area seems to exist in a state of flux.” and he turned back to the console and tried to figure out they ended up inside the subspace pocket.

“Fallen is an unfortunate term, it sounds kind of clumsy don’t you think..pushed maybe somehow, sneaked up on maybe.” She turned to the NE at helm. “Try to get helm control back and move us to a position in the Center of the pocket”
Glancing at Tressex she added. “Any indication what could have caused this?”
Willow Taylor
CO“Working on it, Captain.” Tressex replied. He began trying to analyze the gravometric particles for any kind of pattern in their movement. Simultaneously, he started a search in the computer for any reference to similar instances. He also set the scanners to look for any kind of radiation signatures within the pocket itself.
=/\=Sir. I have unfortunate news. I have been informed that a member of my team was injured, likely killed during the power failure.=/\=

Willow’s expression became serious, a slight whoosh of air from a thought half formed but not uttered escaped her. =^= Which crew member and where Lieutenant=^= She asked. It was par for the course…but this was the first time someone had died while she was in command of the ogawa on the ship itself. First crew member anyway, the thought turned her blood to ice and she found her mouth had become dry.

CO=/\=According to the report I received, Ensign Branson Hart. He was in the lounge. An engineer on repair assignment walked in and saw him. Brace coil in his chest. As far as I know, Medical is not on the scene yet.=/\=
-Lt(j.g.) Mark Pierce, CE
=^= Understood. Continue on the power issue i’ll have someone from medical attend.=^= She said her heart heavy. She could picture the young Ensign clearly.
=^= Taylor to Doctor Walker. Your presence is required with a team in the lounge as a state of urgency, minor injuries and a potential code black situation.=^=
=/\=On it,=/\= Brad said tersely, grabbing two spare NEs and heading for the lift. Both sickbays had seen an influx of people complaining of sprains, bruises, abrasions and fractures in the past five minutes, and he was certain that both the number and severity of injuries would only increase in the next half- hour or so. Case in point, this apparent fatality.
=^= Thank you Doctor Walker. Please keep be informed of the situation.=^= Willow replied.
Commander Brooks ingested as much information about their current situation as she could on the very short trip to the bridge. As she entered she began acting as an XO should. “Casualty report!,” she barked as she strolled, making her way to the captain, but speaking to everyone else, “And I want a number!”
The crew members on the bridge hurriedly tried to do as asked.
She continued making her way toward command knowing that she was completely trusted to carry out certain functions. “How are sensors? Scan for subspace signals, subspace communications, warp signatures…” she made her way to Captain Taylor and looked her directly in the eye and spoke in a soft tone to indicate this part was for the captain only, “Sadee was injured. I think her shoulder was dislocated. She’s in sickbay now.” Her face was stone, but in her voice, the captain would hear only the very faintest waver of worry.
-Lt. Cmdr. Brooks, XO
Willow frowned slightly. “Is she alright?” She asked in the same low tone. “I sent Cai to secondary sickbay thinking it would be safe there, we seem to have accidental fallen into a sub space pocket and have no helm control at the moment. There has been a fatality in the lounge it appears also.”
Willow looked at helm. “Any luck reestablishing control helm?” She asked louder now.
