For those of you who may have caught the recent events in Oklahoma on the news, I am still here and I am safe. Everyone I love is safe.

For those that haven’t, there is a reason my return from LOA has gone long. In the past few weeks, my area, and the surrounding areas, have experienced extensive flooding, some 80 or so tornadoes, mandatory evacuations, and some things that if I explained them here, you would accuse me of making it all up. My very hometown had twin tornadoes rip through simultaneously. While they were only classified as EF1 they did some pretty extensive damage. The entire town was without power for days. Cable and internet are only now being restored. My grandparents lost part of their roof. Trees all over town were uprooted. Even my beloved community theater suffered some minor damage.

We have recently had a reprieve. Things are starting to look sunny again. I am raring to comeback and comeback hard.

Thank you to those of you who have reached out, especially to Cale. You have no idea the impact you have on me. Though I don’t deserve you, you are a most beloved friend.
