Marcus moved into sickbay, he needed to get cleared before he could check-in with his Department head. Sickbay was very impressive he had never been on a medical ship before. This was going to be an interesting asignment. “Excuse me ” he said to the nearest medical officer. “Im Ensign Marcus Lavent, Im her for my physical” he said shifting his stance a little.-Ensign Marcus Lavent
SecurityHead Nurse N’Arir had looked up from her current work. “Hello Ensign, I am Head Nurse Lieutenant N’Arir. I will be taking care of your physical. Please have a seat on any biobed.” She replied looking up at him guiding him to a biobed that is a available.

USS Ogawa NCC-64284-BMarcus smiled, “Thank you Nurse N’Arir” he responded as he hopped up on the table. He had already reviewed the crew list for the Ogawa while he was enroute. He always thought it best to know the crew before he got there, at least on paper.
-Ensign Marcus Lavent
SecurityShe went ahead and grabbed a tricorder and a PaDD as well to make sure she records everything both from tricorder reading and on PaDD. “Mr. Lavent. Please tell me. Do you have any medical history I should be worried about before my scans?” She asked him. “I want to make sure that the readings come back properly. If you will.” She added.

USS Ogawa NCC-64284-BMarcus shook his head. “I have managed to stay out of trouble mostly” he said. “Few bruises and cuts and a few other things of that nature. I’ve been fortunate to mainly just stand gard over area’s” he noted.
-Ensign Marcus Lavent
SecurityShe looked at him now having her tricorder scanning him. “That’s very good.” She replied. While she is scanning him there was nothing unusual. “Well ensign, you seem to be in a perfect health.” She added.

“Hope is the first medicine; compassion is the cure.”“How long have you been on the Ogawa Doctor?” he asked with a soft smile. She shifted at little as the tricorder did it’s thing. He did not know anyone on the ship yet, now seemed like as good a time as any to be a littel social.
-Ensign Marcus Lavent
SecurityShe looked up at him. “Well first I’m not a doctor I’m a nurse. The head nurse in fact and I’ve just got stationed here like yesterday. How long for you ensign?” She replied trying to get to know him. She also, didn’t know anyone on board except her commanding officer, the Chief of staff and now this young ensign. Hoping she’d get some sort of connection with someone.

“Hope is the first medicine; compassion is the cure.”He smiled warmly, she was nice. “I’m sorry nurse, I” he paused. “I just got here actually, you are the first person I have spoken with?” he shifted slightly on the bed. “Seems like I got the lucky draw” he noted, he knew noone on the ship, and in truth seemed like when he got to know people he got transfered.
-Ensign Marcus Lavent
SecurityShe nodded. “No worries. I’m new myself. I am helping around as much as I can. I’m the only nurse here. So I got a lot to catch up.” She replied as she also doesn’t really know anyone on the ship herself.

“Hope is the first medicine; compassion is the cure.”“Well maybe we should find a few people and have a bit of a social hour after shift?” he blurted out, social did not bother him but he often forgot howforward he could be.
-Ensign Marcus Lavent
Security“Social hour? I’ve never experience social hour with others before. What’s it like?” She asked. “But I’m willing to do it.” She added.

“Hope is the first medicine; compassion is the cure.”Marcus was not sure exactly how to explain it, he figured everyone knew what that was . “Well a bunch of the crew get together in the mess, or maybe a loung, play games, talk, eat, that kind of thing” he said with a soft smile. He was not much of a game player but he was able to hold a conversation.

She looked at him and nodded. “I accept the invitation.” She replied. “I would like to have this thing called social time with you and the rest of the crew.” She added.
