“They are! Try a handful of those and popcorn. Absolutely my worst food indulgence.” She dropped a few crunches in her hand and grabbed some popcorn and tossed both in her mouth.

He poped a few in his hand and some popcornd. “mmmmmm thats goood” he said. “Your going to make me fat” he said with a laughed.

“Nope. Carbs for energy for all that rock climbing. We’ll add some jerky in for protein.” She glanced over at him. No she couldn’t imagine Calder ever being out of shape.

He laughed, “To be honest I workout so much I would have to eat a lot of bad things.” he said shifting around on the couch some. He would love to have his feat up, he liked to recline while watching a movie. He worked to get comfortable but could not quite find the spot

“Well then I won’t feel guilty about sharing the crunch clusters with you.” She noticed him shifting around, “Feel free to get comfortable however you want. I don’t have a stool but the coffee table or the seat of a desk chair works, or I can scoot down and you can stretch out.”

He smirked. “you just want me to streach out so you have to, and then you’ll be possition to get a free foot rub” he said putting his leggs up on the seat in a slight fold to his side.

Soda came out her nose in a little snort. “No. Absolutely not. You are not touching my feet Calder!” She glared at him and scooted into the corner, tucking her feet underneath herself. “Nope.” She popped the ‘p’ for emphasis.

Bump

He smirked, smiling at her, she acted like he had made a pass at her, which had he been in a different head space he might, but friendship is what he needed right now. Calder’s eyes started getting heavy, soon he had drifted to sleep while the movie continued to play in the background.

Navale looked over at him as a rather deep breath gave a slight grumbling sound. He was asleep. Wasn’t he supposed to be keeping an eye on her? Navale laughed to herself and got up. She draped a blanket over him, shoved a pillow next to his head for support and then took herself to bed. She was feeling better, but she was still fairly dizzy and was thankful to get to sleep again.

Calder woke sometime in the middle of the night, great, some watcher he thought rubbing his head. After a long moment he streached then stood and walked over to her room, quietly he slid the door open and looked in on her. She was a sleep, moving he got some water from the replicator and sat it down next to the bed on the night stand.

Calder put his tricorder on silent and scanned her to check her vitals, once he was sure she was ok he would go back to sleep and check on her again in an hour.

Her vitals were steady. She was still going to have a headache and some lingering dizziness and fatigue from the concussion, but she was fine. She rolled over in her sleep and slapped her hand on the mattress, fingers curling like she was grabbing. “Huka gremlin,” she grumbled and went quiet.

Calder smiled, she was a special woman, he thought as he stepped back to the sofa to sleep. when morning came he was up early with breakfast again, nothing special just eggs bacon and toast. He sat and read through the security logs for the night, he was due on shift in a few hours.

Lt. Huzzen, Engineersmell of food wafted I to her room. Navale groaned at the pulsing in her head as she sat up. She spotted the water and grinned. That was sweet. She drank it down and pulled her hair back into semi control.

“Morning,” she mumbled as she stepped into the living area. “Thanks for the water.”
