Calder and Huzzen materialized in sick bay, helping her sit down he looked around for assistance. “We’ll get someone to take a look at you” he noted and then moved off trying to find assistance.Aaron Calder
USS Ogawa SecurityCmdr Kane walked over. “Lt. Calder?” The way she said his name was both greeting and question as she looked pointedly at Huzzen.
Lt. Cmdr. Kane, AMO
“Commander, She hit her head and has a concution, I took her back to my room to have her rest but the symptoms seem to be worsining so we thought it best to get her here and have her checked out. ” he paused . “I’ve transfered the tricorder readings to sickbay” he noted
Aaron Calder
USS Ogawa SecurityKane walked over to the biobed and looked over the scans. “Thank you, Lt. Do you prefer to stay or just hand over?” As long as he was helpful, Kane did not mind if he preferred to stay.
“I’ll stay if it’s ok with the Lieutenant Huzzen” he noted.
Navale cracked a small smile. “Yes, you owe me. I broke your fall.”
Alexis paused and looked at Calder. “We’re you injured as well? We should check you as well.”
“As she said, she broke my fall, I feel fine but by all means Commander” he said with a smile.
She flipped on the biobed. “Lt. Huzzen, lie down please. I am going to do more in depth scans to make sure there is no further damage.”
Navale slowly lowered herself to lie on the biobed. And the scans started.
Lt. Cmdr. Kane, AMO
Calder stood next to the bed and subconsciously put a hand are her arm, in a gesture of comfort. He imagined she was not feeling well and she might need some help back to her room once this was over.
Aaron Calder
USS Ogawa SecurityNavale wasn’t feeling well. The room seemed to be swaying and her stomach didn’t like it very much. “I’m going to be sick…”
Kane reached over for a hypo and quickly pressed it to Huzzen’s neck. The anti-nausea medicine worked quickly.
The scans showed some mild brain bruising and some minor bleeding around the brain.
Lt. Huzzen, Engineer
“There is some bruising and bleeding.” She picked up a dermal regenerator and carefully healed the bleed and bruising. “You will need a couple of days off.”
Lt. Cmdr. Kane, AMO
Calder thought for a moment she was going to be sick on him and was relieved that Kane had shot her up with meds. He hopped up on the bed next to hers and sat there waiting for the scan.
Aaron Calder
USS Ogawa SecurityKane finished with Huzzen. “Rest here a moment, Lt.” She rounded to the next bed and began to scan Calder. “What exactly happened?”
Lt. Cmdr. Kane, AMO
“Well we were testing my grav tent as it was having some issues staying connected to rock walls and things, and well I put to much weight on it and crashed into Huzzen here” he smirked, “She’s pretty soft so my landing was” he paused for effect. “Padded”
Aaron Calder
USS Ogawa SecurityHuzzen made a rude gesture at Calder, but she was grinning, “Lucky you.”
Kane ignored the biplay. “Well, let’s get you checked out then just to be sure you haven’t missed your own injuries. May I?” She lifted her scanner and waited.
Lt. Cmdr. Kane, AMO
“Of course Doctor Kane” he said looking over and Huzzen, she was fun, not stuffy she liked to play and joke. He was certain that they were going to get along great.
Aaron Calder
USS Ogawa SecurityAlexis ran the scanner over him checking the results. The doctor was oblivious to the byplay between her patients. It wasn’t that she couldn’t recognize it, Alexis just had no interest in such things. That wouldn’t stop the rest of the medical staff from speculating about it, however.
“Lt. Huzzen would have recovered well with just rest. Coridanites have delayed symptoms to concussions and other injuries. There is a theory among their cultural anthropologist that it is a primitive survival mechanism.”
Lt. Cmdr. Kane, AMO
He smiled an thought on that.”would be a good way to help the fight through or get to safety when injured. It would also make them quite fierce” he said looking over at Huzzen. “Thatnk you Doctor “he said stepping off the bed.
Aaron Calder
USS Ogawa SecurityKane nodded. “Of course. You are free to go, Lt.” She turned to leave, paused, turned back. “We’ll done, Lt.” She sounded like this was a new skill she was learning.
She moved over to Huzzen. “Lt. You can go back to your quarters, but only if you have someone who can stay with you for at least a day.”
Lt. Cmdr. Kane, AMO
Navale blinked her eyes open. Her face scrunched up. She would rather go rest in her quarters. It was too bright and too busy to rest. But her friends would be covering extra shifts for her now. “I guess I’ll stay here.”
Lt. Huzzen, Engineer
Calder rolled his eyes, “You are more than welcome to come sleep on my sofa, if you want” he said smiling. “I might even feed you” he chuckled, it was odd he really did not know her that well , but he felt comfortable, which was likely going to get him in trouble.
Aaron Calder
USS Ogawa Security
“My heeeeroooo,” Navale sang/slurred, “saving me from the light and noise of sickbay! I may swoon.”
The staff was taking bets on whether or not Dr. Kane would take that literally or not.
Lt. Huzzen, Engineer
